2. Website use
The website provides general service information and a method to request quotations. Information may be updated without notice. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or submit false, unlawful or harmful information.
3. Booking enquiries are not automatic acceptance
Submitting a form, sending a message or requesting a quote does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is accepted only when ModeClean confirms the service, scope, date, final price and applicable terms in writing.
4. Prices and quotations
Website prices are starting estimates only. The final quote may consider property size, condition, location, access, parking, congestion or clean-air charges, requested extras, specialist equipment and short-notice requirements.
Once accepted, the written fixed quote applies to the agreed scope. Additional work requested or conditions materially different from the information supplied may require a revised quote. We will seek approval before carrying out chargeable additional work.
5. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete property and access information.
- Disclose hazards, fragile or specialist surfaces, pets, alarms, allergies and product restrictions.
- Provide safe and lawful access at the agreed time.
- Secure valuables, cash, important documents and unusually fragile items.
- Ensure utilities reasonably required for cleaning are available unless agreed otherwise.
6. Scope and standards
The written quotation or booking confirmation defines what is included and excluded. Services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. Results can depend on age, wear, damage, staining, materials and previous treatment. Cleaning cannot restore permanent damage or guarantee removal of every stain.
7. Payments
Payment timing, accepted method and any deposit will be stated before confirmation. Do not make payment through an unofficial link or to an account not supplied by ModeClean through an authorised contact channel.
8. Changes, cancellation and refunds
The Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Specific terms disclosed in the written quote or commercial contract also apply.
9. Complaints and correction
Report a service concern as soon as reasonably possible, with clear details and photographs where appropriate. Where the law requires or it is reasonable in the circumstances, ModeClean may inspect the issue and offer repeat performance or another suitable remedy.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, ModeClean is not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear, undisclosed hazards, inaccurate customer information or indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
11. Delays outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, building access failure, utility interruption, public emergency or sudden staff illness. We will communicate and seek a practical alternative.
12. Data protection
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.
13. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights concerning the courts available to them.
